Aligners may be an option for overlapping teeth or gaps. The amount of space needed and how to create it are determined individually.
Bite concerns
Deep bite, open bite, crossbite and other concerns require assessment of both dental and skeletal relationships. Not every problem can be corrected with aligners alone.
Oral health is part of the plan
The examination assesses decay, gums, supporting tissues and existing restorations. Any necessary preliminary treatment is discussed before starting.
When are alternatives considered?
Complex movements, skeletal discrepancies or difficulty following the wear schedule may require braces or combined treatment. Age alone does not replace clinical assessment.
